Quad insurance

Looking to insure my quad bike. What is everyone else using?
Its not road registered (as it doesn't need to be) and alot of companies insist on it being registered or they wont insure it.
Not interested in NFU.

I insure my quads with MS Amlin agricultural vehicles policy. Also BASC were promoting a quad bike insrance scheme. Check theire website.

Perhaps your answer is to road reg your quadas an "agricultural machine". Not so strict on lighting etc.
Zero road tax as well.

Just had a couple of quotes come through from other companies that dont require it, not badly priced either, so will probably go with one of them.

Needed cover for when being transported to ground so fully comp needed.
Bike sure wouldn't do it without it being registered.
Got sorted with another company now.
Ah. Mine's registered so I didn't think of that 🤔 Glad you're sorted

If that’s on a trailer then doesn’t the towing vehicle insurance cover it?

Been with the BASC nominated broker Hallum since 2015, fully comp and any driver agriculture and forestry policy, great deal.

County Insurance for me - brokers and I've got an agri fleet policy for quad and pickup. Cheaper than separate policies and better cover than I had. They were the cheapest for standalone quad when I was looking at that option too.
