I have grs bifrost green and the black rubber hand grip is really sticky.Emailed and contacted GRS and not a reply ,some after service . Any idea how to maybe treat it ? Not a great problem but shouldnt happen

Haven’t had any issues with mine thankfully but experience of other rubber coated stocks would suggest that once it starts to go sticky there is nothing really that you can do to turn back the problem.. it’s normally the rubber degrading for some purpose and in short the game is over. I have a sake 85 finlight and this has a synthetic stock covered in a soft touch rubber coating. It went sticky and when I say I tried everything on it I mean it! Resorted to the idea off removing the soft touch back to the synthetic stock under neath. The cellulose thinners (available in any car parts store) used for thinking car paint was the job….. lightly painted in onto the stock and left it for five minutes. You could see it blistering off….. then just wiped the rubber coating off completely….. made a good job of it and it’s actually quite a nice stock underneath. I tell you this as a word of caution that you don’t try something that may totally ruin yours……
