Bomb phone case

Having killed my last 3 phones (my last one was in a supposedly tough case, but 30 something ewes ran over it after falling from my pocket & it failed that test) so can anyone recommend a genuinely strongest phone case?
Cheers

I always use Otter Box phone covers- not as good as they used to be but has always protected my phone- phone has quite a tough life. Have even dropped phone from horse back when riding on the road.
Would second this. They have different models with differing degrees of robustness.

@Hod @Jon P I did look at otterbox but they had magnet in them (my son's brain surgery means he's not allowed magnets around him) do they do non magnetic ones?

Ah. I don’t know. I presume that’s the integral part of the wireless charging. Part of mine dropped out after a couple of years, so I guess you could probably remove them. But that’s hardly ideal if you’ve paid decent money for a branded/rated case.

How about a lanyard?
I use one of those plastic tabs that sit behind the phone and come out through the charging hole to attach a tether on my stalking bino case whilst stalking. Same arrangement to a coiled tether could attach to any belt loop or lanyard (many be with a HD retractable line like I use on my MOD passes) like SD says 👍 KISS

Have used Lifeproof Frê cases on my last 2-3 iPhones & they have certainly prevented what would have been catastrophic damage on more than one occasion when dropped from height onto hard surfaces! Whether they’d have saved it from being trampled by a mob of sheep I don’t know though 🐑

I think that Lifeproof & Otterbox are the same company now as the latter seems to offer the Frê waterproof case now.

As for magnets in cases, that’s all down to the wireless charging used these days so think you’ll struggle to find a high end case that doesn’t have this feature.

I've got a non magnetic otterbox defender on my s25, and have had the same on previous phones, been launched out tractor cab a few times onto concrete, dropped into the sheep race etc etc, always survived, a good quality screen protector is just as important though! A direct smack from a ewes foot would probably still damage screen even with a protector

Astra Cases very good. I have a iPhone 13 in one and it gets abused day in day out, haven’t had any issues and is still pretty much immaculate. Not mega expensive and no magnets in it either
