Law change on catapults?

There is plenty of legislation- we don’t need any more.
What we do need is for parents, teachers etc to teach kids about responsibility and the dangers and consequences of knives / catapults etc.
We also need on the beat policing so that these sorts are nipped in the bud long long before they go off the rails. Policing should be measured by number of arrests etc. it should a function of how little crime there is.
There always little scrotes, but these days it seems that they are just out of control.

Me and my mate must have redistributed tons of gravel over the decades.
In the school holidays replaced the elastic weekly. Clamp frame in vice insert elastic stretch insert pin and pull into place. We had it down to a very fine art.
I think I now have a couple of my kids Barnetts upstairs.

The problem seems to have been caused by some toe-rags shooting things in a public park, where the public at large were coming across dead and dying things. Not good publicity. When I was a lad armed with either a catty or an air rifle, I conducted my activities well away from the populace at large, and never had a problem!

Never did anything stupid with them? I don’t think a black widow exists that has never had anything stupid done with it!Had the Black Widow & Pro Diablo catties as a kid & teenager.Never did anything stupid with them & also never hit anything with them either.
Kids aren't allowed to be exposed to nasty things like this anymore,not allowed responsibility,even being outside for some is a harrowing experience.
Glad I was born in 1973 & had a great time growing up with sea fishing,an air rifle,ferrets & dogs.
They had on Radio 4 or whatever the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent asking for the law to be changed this morning.
An appointee of a Tory Crime Commissioner it is to be noted.

What a tool. It’s hardly as though they’re successfully enforcing the existing laws on offensive weapons. If they have time to waste on this sort of nonsense, then they’re in dereliction of their duty with the existing laws.

Definitely missed a lot!! Hello, BBC South Today had a report on Catapults , Birds shot out of trees, Swans shot with ball bearings , Family cat lost an Eye, It needs reclassified to over 18s but you can easy make one, Although there now going at fishing Catapults ??
