Need help getting into an electronic safe

Widow of a friend of mine needs someone to help her get into an empty electronic gun safe. Batteries have run down and she's a bit flummoxed. Farnham area. Anyone have any recommendations?

• Digital lock with override key - You will need to use the override key to open the safe. The battery pack is inside the door and batteries can only be replaced with the safe open. To access the override lock, there is usually a removable panel to the side of the keypad. Undoing this will uncover the lock for the key to be inserted. If you have lost the override key then you cannot open the safe. However, due to the less secure nature of these sort of key locks, a locksmith will be able to open it for you, for a charge.
• Digital lock with batteries behind the keypad - There is normally an obvious catch somewhere on the keypad (often at the bottom) which will release the battery casing and enable you to replace the batteries as seen in the image below
• Digital lock with emergency power supply connection - These safes cannot be opened without battery power and the batteries are located inside the safe. If your batteries are dead, you will need to hold a 9v battery (Like the ones you get in smoke detectors) to the connection points at the front of the safe, this should deliver the power you require to enter your code on the keypad.

If you know the make of the cabinet/safe, then it's probably worth enquiring with the makers. I assume that the deceased husband did have a backup key and although it's empty, he may well have had it secreted somewhere. I'd ask your friend's widow to have a good ratch about, see if she can find it. I suppose the last resort would be to cut it open, but assuming it's a digital one, then perhaps it's worth a bit and so that would be undesirable. It'll probably turn up once the angle grinder has done it's worst!

Again, depending on the potential price of the safe and how much one would cost, perhaps a locksmith could gain entry.

Mate had his elec one fail,arranged for a locksmith that used a hole saw and cut a 4' circle out of the door,released the busll**** inside then welded the cut out back in. Obviously sorted the locking mechanism too.

It should have a good old fashioned key as a get out of jail free card, if she’s lost it, or kept it in the safe she might be bumolkst

I think issue might be she doesn’t have key and battery access may be from inside
