Ah, sorry - misunderstood SD completely!
But you're right, they are not relocating them. They actively encourage the game shoot on their land to keep on top of them.
Do you shoot game up there mate ?

I don't but I know a few of the lads that do. I picked up there for a bit but not got a fit dog at the minute.Do you shoot game up there mate ?
No it's not SD, I'm in Grafton country. Twice I've found 3 cubs plus a few piles of dog biscuits type food just inside a wood with an entrance concealed from the road. Tame as hell, like shooting a LabradorMy local hunt must be unique then.....
After all this wet & windy weather, we copped the Arctic conditions, Fox could be out early hunting, so I concluded last night would be an early set up before sunset.
Sure enough 17:50
I lasted untill 20:45 when I bottled it, -5 + wind chill![]()
Roger!, temp killed the phone, so no pic.Did you get it? Looks like a heart shot.

Mine could launch a space ship = guns - hand warmers - scopes - shoot radios etc etc, Sometimes I forget to put the plug in the mains when I leave the phone on charge Smelly, think it was about 7% when I went out.
, With the amount of stuff that is charging right now, It looks like a data centre in here.

Great resultOut last night. A tad chilly and crunchy underfoot so just took it steady and decided to stay on the ground around home. Headed to the furthest patch first, set up the caller for 30 mins and no luck. Back down past the house onto our neighbours and saw a fox crossing about 50 yards below me. I knew it would see or here me when I got ready for the shot but it stopped for a quick look back (as is often the case) and bang...off it runs...WTF...check the footage from the scope and all looks good...but no fox.....head down for a look and can see a fox on the bank but its heading towards me before it disappears in the cover. I can see a faint thermal signature so give it a squeak and out pops the fox (well its head at least) from behind a tree...wallop.

Picture isnt great on account of the fact that most of its head is gone.
Back for a proper look for fox 1 and there he is in the next field. Big old dog so 2 down

Decide to call it a night but spot another the top side of the house but cant get a shot. Hand squeaked for a couple of minutes and the fox appears about 90 yards away, no 3 down....another big old dog and nos 51,52 & 53.

Well done mate...there are a few on here who will remember the grief I got on another forum when I saw a fox up a tree...no names mentioned (NickB and BumpyView attachment 447810
Out Wednesday night, pretty fresh but not cold enough to freeze the boggy ground on parts of this farm. Wandered past this fallen old tree and saw a little heat signature, dismissed it as a mouse. Only when I was 150m past it did I do a 360 scan and blow me the little heat signature was now looking much bigger. A glimpse through the pvs14 backed scope revealed a fox curled up grabbing a nap.
Had to nudge him off his perch with the quadsticks after making his nap an everlasting one. A top condition dog with a big broad head on him. Using up the last few 6.5 SST's, before going permanently lead free.
Cheers mate. I need to cover some of the other ground I have .... 3,000 odd acres to go at so better get the walking boots on lolGreat result
Haven't been out looking for a while but hopefully get a look this weekend if the weather plays the game.
