That link is for an M3 thread.
What scope mount is the screw for as that may help identify it.
My bad, apologies. That link is for an M3
But of course. Sadly the flex is too short to take the rifle outside….Does that mean you can now plug your scope into the mains? Do let us know if that improves accuracy or ability to headshot at 1000 yds. We’ll be waiting…![]()

Thank you.I’ve had a look through my box of might be useful screws/ bolts, nothing that will do.
Good idea but we are still in shorts over here…….Check your trouser turn ups, just in case… don’t ask me how I know![]()
Probably.Does the screw require the c50% shoulder (unthreaded section) as per your picture? I'm guessing it does to ensure zero wobble of clamped components.

Best thing is to contact the manufacturer, and get them to send you one.No - not what you all have thought like for ever!
I have lost a socket cap screw from my scope mount on the 6.5x55SE soooo can any of you clever SD lads give me a clue about what I need to replace it and where to source it please?
Photo attached below - I have measured it as 35 x 3.35 of those new metric thingies but threading - not a clue.
Many thanks chaps…
