Your most ‘satisfying’ purchase this year?

CZ457 .22lr.
Sold my previous .22lr and swapped to FAC air rifle a good while ago, but it just isn't the same feel. Getting back into the rimmy has been great! I can go out with a slack handful of ammo, which is still fairly cheap, be able to deal with a fox at sensible range and then get some really useful practice plinking. Negligible noise with subs.

Treated my self to a new browning xs pro crown,( big birthday 🤣) got a really good discount on it, comes up a dream, and have shot the best I’ve ever had throughout the year. Winner👍

Interesting thread - for me, a .308 barrel for my Mauser MO3. Bought from Steve Beatty at Ivythorn Sporting.
Had to have one to scratch the itch I had for 308.
Very accurate, very cheap to reload, knocks deer down - what’s not to like ! I’m used to the drop on it now so I know it’s not quite as long range as my 6.5x55, but so far this season I’ve only used that for woodland stalking.

Imported a couple of original Swedish sniper scopes from Sweden to add to my collection, these are very difficult and hard to find especially with their mounts.

Top one…….Ajack 4x90
One below…..AGA m/42

Have you been lurking on Auctionet? Last thing I bought of there was a genuine bullet mould for my Jacobs rifle. If only I could find the bayonet for it at a reasonable price.

Hej @Jagare,

In answer to your question….no…well not really.

Through a collector friend in your part of the world, one of his friends was selling them, he had all three types but l missed out on the m/44 scope.

I’ll keep my eye open for a Jacob’s bayonet but as far as I’m aware they’re not that easy to find and they’ll be expensive, keep looking,
