They’ll be fine. You just need to keep the wind off the back of your hands where you feel the cold take them off for doing all the dirty work.
All I wear is fingerless gloves I learned many years ago when I had a client nearly get frostbite wearing neoprene hunting gloves, you’ll never see me wearing gloves with fingers ever again no matter how cold it is
Plus for £20 if I wreck them in 2-3 months I’ll just buy another pair!

(Neoprene is a useless material for gloves with or without fingers...)

Even I’ve got a pair of them but took my wife dress making scissors and cut the mitten bit off ****ing useless, then I will add I think I slung them in the uselessI have these cheap fingerless shooting gloves that fold over to become mittens.

I find the mitten bit really good, especially when highseat sitting.
Can't feel the cold if you are already dead inside
I'm using the fingerless Seal Skinz mittens when it's really cold. Until then, I'm usually in a pair of decathlon things that cost about £8-9 and it's more because my sticks are cold (roll on carbon sticks)
