Ah I seeFox very often approach from my rearward, the old truck had a rifle rest that could be set to support the rifle to shoot behind me, commonly referred to in rear gunner terms as a "Scarf ring" so you didn't shoot your tail plane to bits![]()

You shot a fox playing cards? I've heard it all now ..It's surprises me how far/high bits fly sometimes.
I remember once having a deck of cards sized lump, fall back to earth a couple of seconds after the shot, so it must have gone a long way up!![]()

Yep, drizzle and a very thin veil of mist stopped me getting out as well. I did see a fox crossing the field behind the house early in the evening but by the time we'd eaten it would have been a waste of time going out.Nil viz last night, & no current improvement, more heavy rain forecast.![]()

Not getting out thats the problem, rain , mist and fog .Least you guys are getting out, forecast for the next week around the ochil hills is mist - rain and wind
