Honesty is the best policy when it comes to the shotgun. If it was a day on the crows I have no worries ...a day on the pheasants, as a guest, with Bumpy back gunning for amusement ...its going to be a shocker

Weather was being good for once, well so says the BBC dropped my mate off at next farm, and settled in at an old bothy looking up towards a hill no there long and phone pings to say my mate has a fox down, nice 1
Was scanning around and spots 1 towards the south fields , quick lip squeak and it comes flying in 60 mts and he's down, #3 so far

Agreed...the one type of shooting I enjoy the most...roll on first cut silage and drilling ...winter is always really hard work to find any decent corvid shooting

My old shooting buddy that I've never shot with for around 10 years contacted me last week saying he had a rabbit problem on his 28 acres.

So after he bought a new Tikka T1 Ace in .22lr topped with an Alpex 4k we arranged to go out tonight.

He had arranged with a few of his neighbours to shoot their land too and they were more than happy to thin the rabbits out as its attracting undesirables with lurchers.

It was quite windy making shooting off sticks a challenge but we ended up with 22 and plenty more to thin out.

Grew up in the Tyne valley and still have family there.
Pretty sure it’s a north east thing using “never” instead of something like “haven’t”

Now I wont name names ...but you boys are easier to understand then some ...sometimes when people move from areas like Wales to areas like Notts ..it all goes horribly wrong . My issues are due to radiation exposure having been born near Sellafield then moving to a cave in Mid Wales
