I've recently been messing with pies made in a muffin tin. Dead easy, cut out circles of puff pastry just large enough to fill each mold, then add your filling of choice. Venison, in this case
And cover with a puff pastry lid. Brush with egg, and then into an oven at 200C for 30 minutes and they're done.
They're just big enough for a decent snack, or a couple would be a decent helping for a meal.
