12B humane dispatch loads

@cookingfat has some 12b loads developed specifically for HAD.
Yes I had 250 loaded up by the people who loaded the badger cull stuff, I had them loaded a bit more powerful the the badger cartridges just because maybe bigger animals to deal with.

The HAD cartridges are not the be all and end all but a useful tool in the box when dealing with urban deer and hard surfaces or deer stuck in vehicles and worried about exiting the head! other times its a 410 or 12g 34gr 4's or rimfire, it just depends on the job.

Not 12g but I’ve some .410’s loaded with 9gns powder and 9gms of shot for very close use in a shot pistol, ideal for live trapped foxes in that no pass through but needs to be used at sub 6”.
That reminds me, I did similar for my silenced 410.
It would kill squirrels at 5yds.
Toilet paper wadding.
Had to stop using it in the garden.
Mrs complained about the bits of white paper everywhere.

I’ve got several boxes of them that I will happily sell but will need collecting. They are, I believe powdered bismuth and manufactured by Primetake who can tell exact details.
Do you happen to have a photo of the packaging and or shells?

Just looked on there website, they do some really interesting shotgun cartridges. The cs and door breaching rounds, that should get a teenager out of there bedroom!

Good o'le HAD again! Love it, OK this may not be directly related to the OP's title, apploigies my memory is failing me now but when I visited Chris - (RiP😔) at Hampshire Smokery I'm sure he said he was then working on some kinda water filled 12g/410?

For the record I take both 12g and hushpower 410 in a double bag on HAD's, I've completed literally 100's and 100's (Deer admittedly) and used the 12g less than 20 times I reckon. I use whatever ammo is cheap and available, it gets the job done on any deer at sub 3mtrs

Reckon it was a sintered metallic powder, I thought it was stainless dust, but I could be wrong ... some discussion was had around these cartridges, so a search may bring it up?
Yeah, that rings true although I thought they were just steel rather than stainless.

I don’t know where you’d buy any from as a member of the public though.

Do you happen to have a photo of the packaging and or shells?
I’m afraid I don’t, if anyone is genuinely interested in buying them then I will dig them out and send photo. They are not very exciting to look at! Plain white box, green plastic 2.5” case with roll top.

Thanks that’s interesting, no not interested in buying but was wondering if they were ones we had made.

Unlikely as ours used to be in paper cases (red or brown)
