Thick Recticle Scope

Hi all

After a scope with a thick recticle. I know that leupold VX HD series do it. However not many options here in the UK. Are there any other recommendations that would be under 1500. Objective lense to be 40-44.

Thank you.

why may I ask? If its for low light, I have found illuminated reticles to be really good for this, plus really intuitive.

Have a look at first focal plain scope FFP they have a more pronounced reticle something like the Swarovski habicht 3-12 x50

This^^

I prefer an illuminated reticle that you can turn down to next to nothing at last light.
I also have a non IR Meopta FFP 3-12, the reticle is a very thick thing on higher mags.

I have similar with red dot. Thick ret and dot if required. The glass is also very good I think from memory it’s a meostar

S&B 3-12 x42 FFP the thickest I have used / seen...............................but works very well in woodland where you can lose a finer reticle.

My Dad has this same problem with reticles, so far the only one of mine he gets on with, is my Meopta artemis 3-12x50, there was one for sale on her for not a lot of money last week
