Just posted on facebook about my hikmicro aplex 4k having zero issues, shot two deer at 150m bang on and had some cracking shots with it but last two weeks randomly missed 2 easy shots and when checked footage back and checked zero it was bang on, lots of people seem to be having the same issue, i just dont trust it now, just watched a deercast video after someone told me to go take a look aswell and i just cant be using it they had issues aswell, people have said theyve had no issues with the c50? does anyone have any reccomendations on day night scopes, good or bad looking for as many reccomendations and issues as i can so i can make an informed decision on weather i just have to go back to glass or there is a day night scope that doesnt have these issues thanks

I had the same issues.

Really accurate scope, then it would go off the boil.
Sometimes when I checked zero it was off a shade and other times it was on.

Probably going to change to the falcon titan multi spectral scope.

Lot of kiwis using it to great effect in NZ

What mag was it on, how far away were the deer & what species?

High mag + longer distance + smaller deer = problem

I have worked out the hard way that the Alpex is best used at 7x for most shots & is then more than capable out to 300 yards - no loss of accuracy. However, wind it up to 28x on a Muntjac at 200 yards & expect bullet not to land where the cross is.

As for the deer cast video, nothing wrong with the scope - the shot was too far forward, thought it was as soon as I saw the clip, then he said it was when discussing it.

Ill take a look at that scope 👍

Never had a problem with either of mine , ..its usually pilot error to be fair.
Yeah some people seem to have no issues some do, it was an easy shot, ive shot loads of deer at greater distances than that, calm easy shot missed by miles not just off definitley the scope, scope cam confirmed too

You can shoot beyond the half light no problem with good glass that I will assure you, I’ve done many times!

I’ll NEVER go digital or thermal it’s just not an option for me, I’ll never lower my standards!
