Mounted Torch / Lamp for Night Hunting

I don't know what deer are like round your neck of the woods lads, but in my experience with Sika the amount of deer down and the work it entails will be difficult to justify especially at night.

Deer are very adept to severe disturbance, Sika learn so quickly it makes me jealous no joke, they are gone like lightning when a vehicle dives slowly by at night especially if they had even light pressure applied upon them.

This will be interesting going forward.

I’ve done it for years - drive past spotting and looking at numbers - drive on until your either out of sight or a distance from them and park up - walk back (hopefully wind in your favour ) set up and start , I’ve seen 20-30 sika in a field and every 2-3 night I’ve managed 4 at a time . Just don’t make them wise and you’ll win .
