Another brace this morning, that's 19 now, mounting up nicely.

Brilliant day with the traps today
Went down early doors and had 2 crows
Decided to move a couple about - and then went and did some repairs on the pens with the syndicate
Checked one trap i had moved and had a magpie - and then another i had moved with clam shells had another 3 crows

So 5 crows and a magpie and its only dinner time

Nice

Cheers Mike. First year with, probably couple of things I'll tweak with set up next year but on the whole it's made lambing, feeding & moving ewes with lambs so much eas.....less hard!!

Those of us who do bit of corvid catching- do you find crows harder to catching than magpies? I'd guess on average for every 10 magpies I get 1 crow!!

Your big round Solway placed as near to the nesting tree as you can get it should catch them within the day bud.
