For total transparency I was asked by Oneleaf to field test there Mars MT1000LRF thermal rifle scope and if I thought it was any good to feature it in my videos on my YouTube channel (Veteranvermincontrol)

I had a look at the specs of the MT1000LRF and was very very impressed with what was on offer for under £1500

There isn't anything else on the market that can match the specs for £1500.
640 x 512
60Hz
Lrf with BC caulculator
2 Lenses 35mm + 50mm (70mm due soon).
3 year warranty
I eagerly anticipated its arrival and it was here within a week and I mounted it on my .17HMR as I wanted to see if it was usable at HMR ranges, obviously it's going to be good enough for airgun use but for me I would want something that I can use on my airgun/rimfire and then my Centerfires for foxing duites or even longer range rabbits....a versatile scope which would allow practical use in Identifying and being able to have a half decent image to shoot.
Its had been a warm day 20+ degrees and when I got out it was cooler but still humid, I managed to get the scope zeroed in fairly quick and set the BC up.
One thing that is worth saying is how user friendly the scope is in setting up and operating the user interface......its so simple!
I then took a little walk and it wasn't long before I was put into action and I quickly rattled 10 rabbits of in a large horse paddock

before setting off back to the van as the light faded where I then knocked over another 20 rabbits!
I was very impressed with the scope and how it preformed, especially given it was a close and humid evening, this thing would be even better on a colder night.
I'm just on sorting some footage out for my next video but I will try to get some clips up on here so you can see how it preformed.
Has anyone on here got any hands on experience with this scope? Would be good to hear how your getting on with it
