Sweet tooth?

Got to have a pudding after a meal, this year's Rhubarb for a crumble this evening with a wee spot of custard which is my favourite pudding of all time.
I eat twice a day 10-11am and 7-8pm very rarely snack anything in between but always have a pudding after evening meal and if really adventurous wash pudding down with Haribo.
Eating out am usually a three courser.

I dont know the last time i ate any sweets, did have a sip of choc milk 9 days ago, dont think ill do that again.
Some thing full of fat im all over, lardo or the air dried hams, sweet stuff no thanks unless ive over worked and need the hit, then prob just a few spoons of sugar

Starter, main and cheese board for me, though I have had a starter for pud it was the waiter suggested it as there was no cheese board and no pudding I fancied and I couldn’t let the Mrs eat a pudding while I had only a glass of something.

A sweet is always in my mouth when out shooting, helps me to concentrate, and yes it's a Werther's original....😋
As for a dessert, Kiwi, Walnuts and Greek yoghurt are my go too.

You'd never go for a starter after your pudding if you were left wanting.

The solution, as I've done (only on occasion...) is to order a second dessert!

Me and the missus are decidedly in favour of puddings over starters.

Also, something that she hates on a menu (especially a set menu) is when the cheese board is listed as a dessert - it should be a before/after pudding dish!

Cant beat a good film and a pot of sour sweets ... or sweets in general.

I also tend to demolish a tin of Danish Butter Biscuits in quick order 👍

I just like food. starter, main and dessert! unfortunately self control is required to keep in current belt loops. hairdos and a iced coffee is the go to lamping snack, easy and energy boosting into the early hours. custard donuts or tunics tea cakes along with a flask of coffee (no sugar mind don't want to get fat) when out stalking and not going home/near a shop for a while.

have started taking a gas camping stove for bacon and sausage baps when on prolonged "expeditions" where a tea cake just can't sustain you

As a type 1 diabetic of 50 years who does a lot of mountain sports I find that I am always having to eat a lot of sweets during activities, especially endurance days. Plays havic with your teeth though 😬
