This is intended as an overview of the reloading process explaining the steps required to turn spent brass cases into new loaded rounds. It is aimed at those people who are unfamiliar with the reloading process but if any old hands want to chip in with alternative suggestions then please do - I have only been reloading a year or so myself and there is always more to learn!

What do you want to do? Load for consistency, cost, specific load for your rifle, or get into the precision side of it?hi starting to look into reloading 308 / 7.62 could some wonderful people guide me in to what books \ equipment i will need and should read and sort of costs for equipment any advice welcome thanks in advance
Once you understand the basics it is no dark art, just follow the process set out in the above book and you’ll produce ammunition that is cheaper and more than likely more accurate in your rifle. It will take a little bit of time for the cost of the kit to be offset by the saving on the ammunition, but once that’s done the kit will have thousands of rounds ahead of it.I recently joined the nra Sorta want consistency and precision and cost saving as everyone does we shall see where it goes it’s is getting costly and i am improving all the time also reading /talking and asking questions shows it can help you on this dark art I am going to give it a go and see
