There's an excellent reloading "sticky" on here and if you search, buckets loads of similar questions with lengthy replies!

Almost all you need other than dies and a set of digital callipers. Upgraded scales will speed things up (SH RCBS 505s £50-60) and a manual trickler (£20) will help.

People will tell you Lee kit is no good, it’s nonsense, I’ve loaded thousands and thousands of very accurate ammunition with the above over the last 12 years.

The above boom will go into more detail on kit.

What do

What do you want to do? Load for consistency, cost, specific load for your rifle, or get into the precision side of it?

I ask as someone who started out with the former and then got seduced by the dark side. If the former, then find a mate to help you work a load and just load to that. My Sako 85 with 130 TTSX is gnat's crochet accurate and consistent thanks to a good friend. I've no intention messing with this, but am playing for my 6.5

I recently joined the nra Sorta want consistency and precision and cost saving as everyone does we shall see where it goes it’s is getting costly and i am improving all the time also reading /talking and asking questions shows it can help you on this dark art I am going to give it a go and see

Once you understand the basics it is no dark art, just follow the process set out in the above book and you’ll produce ammunition that is cheaper and more than likely more accurate in your rifle. It will take a little bit of time for the cost of the kit to be offset by the saving on the ammunition, but once that’s done the kit will have thousands of rounds ahead of it.

It is a rabbit hole though, you can go deeper and deeper which invariably means buying more kit, for diminishing returns. If you’re happy with the initial ammunition you produce then stop there!

keep it simple, ask advise on here, everything you want to know is on the internet youtube, start out by looking what kit you need, advertise on here for reloading equipment, ask questions on here if your not sure, their are some great lads and lassies on here that will help, who have a wealth of knowledge, gl on your journey i can still remember the first round i loaded and fired all those years ago. bs
