Hello, I'm Pierre Theron from South Africa and I reside in George, in the lovely Garden Route. As a South African, the options to hunt game are wide open, big or small, but we do not have Crown Land so hunting for free is not possible. Biltong for the win!

I own a .308 BSA CF2, in immaculate condition. A 22 Hornet BRNO ZKW 465 that I have inherited from my father, my favourite rifle. And then a 22LR, BSA Supersport 5, also my father's.

Looking forward to discussing and learning more about reloading for these specific rifles and calibres.

thestalkingdirectory.co.uk comes up in my reloading research time and again and whilst I will not be participating in the actual hunting, I look forward to sharing the outcomes of my experimenting with my BSA's and the 22 Hornet.

Welcome aboard!

Would love to visit SA one day (not hunting just sightseeing). You'll find wealth of great info on here - and some crap info too!! 😆

Do it - book that trip, you will not be disappointed! I consider myself very fortunate to live in such a beautiful country with mostly great weather.

I have had SA Biltong and UK Biltong and was never a fan of it lol, Had "POW" most mornings in Mozambique with breakfast as the locals make it but it goes hard by lunch time and as Hennie used to say " you can eat it in the morning and play cricket with it in the afternoon"

@takbok is the best one to ask as he makes it here in the UK
