Well the Ruger M77 mk2 in 7x57 is not wanted, the Ruger as a brand is about as fashionable as a kick in the bolloocks, that calibre is elegant but old, but not popular, she’s a tack driver with lead or copper but alas not wanted. 😢

Well old girl better get you ready for action,
You can be the reserve if needed!

How difficult would it be to export a rifle from England to Canada? I have my own importer, so that's not a problem. But what has to be done to send the gun from England?

Congrats on the sale. I own a lot of Ruger M77 rifles, they were my stalking and culling workhorses for me from about 1988, the scope mount system is rock solid, I've never had to re zero a scope on a M77, the key improvement needed was always a little trigger refinement which my local gun smith did very well for me. The stainless zytel paddle stock versions were excellent for dragging through the rocky terrain & grass in the rain on the Scottish hills. Again 7x57 may not be trendy but is a great round, hopefully your buyer appreciates their new rifle. Karomojo Bell shot just about everything in Africa including a substantial number of elephant with his 7x57!

I had an early 80s 77 in 7x57. Really liked it but gifted to my son who loves it. Nice no nonsense rifle. He shoots very accurately with it with standard factory loads. I had no plan to sell it but glad I gave it to my son. Plus opened up some safe room that I eventually filled with a 6.5x55 which I had always wanted. Now I’m planning a 7 custom build 😂
