Carcass Disposal

So are we. I'm in favour of it. Recycling and kitchen waste is still collected weekly. It's just the general waste bin that's on 3 week intervals. People are now taking much more care over sorting their waste and recycling as much as possible. Managing and reducing waste is a shared responsibility, and the consumer needs to accept their share of that responsibility.

I do recall some objections when 3 week collections were mooted, on the basis that it would result in an increase in fly tipping, but that fear doesn't appear to have materialised in this area. I cannot speak for elsewhere.
The council may well put all your carefully sorted recycling into landfill!

I had to change some roof sheets on a kitchen as they were classed as "Asbestos"
Followed all the guidelines for disposal sprayed pva glue double bagged in 1200 plastic
Got to the disposal site only to watch the 2 workers lob them in a skip with the bags breaking wide open lol
Got my ticket at the office and ducked off

I freeze everything unwanted and then drop it off, for free, at a Rapture centre where they feed it to the birds of prey.

Have also dropped entire frozen fox carcasses as well. Never had any complaints from the vultures and other carrion eaters or the owners as its supports their business.

I freeze the skins and drop them to an ancient technology centre, also free, where they stretch them over frames and work on them with flints. Its an education centre for schoolkids and college/ uni students.

I went onto a local Facebook site and asked if any ferret owners about or dog owners that use a barf diet.
its now how I get rid of the skin & bones and any pheasant carcases after I have breasted them.

I was fairly recently involved in a business that had a contract with a big waste disposal company. We had numerous bins on site for both general waste and recycling. Each week they were all loaded into the same lorry. I asked the lads about that and they just smiled/laughed and said ‘officially’ it gets re-sorted later, but they don’t know how because I was the last stop on the run before they went to unload directly at the landfill.
