An uncomfortable Narrative

My cousin sent me the link to a veterans Facebook group where it gets good reviews. I'm not sure if he served with Joseph (he wasn't RLI) or knew him through Parks later in life, anyway he said it's a good read so I have ordered a copy this week, at only £3 postage from RSA I'm hoping it's not very thin @bowji john ?

I worked with a white chap in Worthing and he was formerly in the RDF as a young man. He said that they would send electric current through the railway lines then go along to see what IEDs had blown, often there was a ring of "freedom fighters" laying dead around it.
The farmers would call in an attack and he and his black troop would chopper in to find that everyone had legged it, he always carried a fighting shotgun so he would help himself to some chickens then send a trooper up the water tower ladder then shout "pull" then they would cook them on a fire.
