Feral goats

I’m currently on my gap year and am looking for somewhere to go feral goat shooting with some mates, I’m currently struggling to find anything online and was wandering if anyone on here would be able to suggest anything?

Just be careful and use a reputable stalker such as those above - sadly there are a few cowboys out there who provide “Scottish Ibex” for the American suckers market……

Anyone know if someone is shooting the goats in the Moffat area - around the Grey Mare’s Tail?

I was out in one of the valleys to the West of the Grey Mare’s Tail and saw hundreds.

An abiding memory - shot a very old billy as part of tree protection request. Two things come to mind - it was much bigger and heavier than I expected and the stench was overpowering -I only had a 65 miles drive home with all windows open and fan on full.
Still - it tasted good….

Goat on a stick was my treat for high days and holidays when working in remote parts of Africa as a penniless PhD student.

Admittedly my girlfriend refused to come anywhere near me for 2 days afterwards…

Talking of the smell I found out my Mrs keeps a house brick in her bag due to the smell.
We were watching how graceful they can move up cliffs. I said to her how they reminded me of her. I meant their graceful movements but as I was speaking the wind blew there err aromatic scent our way! Thus I felt the brick hidden in the bottom of her handbag
