I got a week off preached last week, preaching next week and the week after. So Sunday is my day off. Don't get my cassock until later this year when I get my licence to preach if I make the grade.it is harder than the DMQ.

Indeed not, it’s just a matter of personal preference. That said, the full traditional tweed gameshooting garb does look like fancy dress to most people. I’ve never been able to bring myself to wear plus-fours. Mostly because they feel like fancy dress, but also because if it’s cold and wet (and it pretty much always is in this game), I don’t want only half a pair of trousers on with the shortfall made up for by outsized socks. I want a full leg-covering of Gore-Tex.

But you know, it’s a question of taste, not morals. Snails and oysters, Antoninus…

At exhibitions we have various levels of attire, so fancy dress is no issue.

In fact this is me posing with some not unattractive fellow traders at The Scottish Outdoor Show recently.



However for this show we will be in usual attire, tactical pants, and branded polos.
