+1 get a Blaser mate.

no dont waste your money
i very simple solution to the problem here , flog the rifle , then find a second hand ruger m77 mk2 for about £250-300 will shoot 5 rounds in 20p bit @ 100 yds .(mine does)
with the change of £6200 have a nice trip to south afrca and shoot a monster kudu !

I would bypass garlands & make sauer aware of the problem ASAP if it isn't resolved to his satisfaction by garlands then go straight to sauer who are then already aware of the problem, but 2 1/2" group is not acceptable, there's been some good advice given here including Get A Blaser, lol
The scope mounts was fitted by garlands and it has had 2 night force, a z4i, and now has a brand new z6i on it
You don't say what the mounts are, but even the most expensive such as Apel will be 'carp' if not set up and adjusted properly, especially if they're the swing off or quick detach type that use a cam to lock them in tight. Cheers.
definitely something wrong there. My 6.5x55 shoots 1/2 to 3/4 no probs. I would be sending back for refund. There is always the chance of a lemon, no reason they just happen.
Plus 1 also in 6.5 x 55
Update, garlands have said they will replace the barrel if its proven by independent gunsmith.
Im thinking this is still a **** poor excuse of an offer. Garlands if your reading this pull your finger out and sort this out and try and save some face as a credible company to deal with..............
