well my HFH shirt is being worn as often as possible, it was horrible to watch the news last night, all those people who witnessed it and not able to raise a finger to help, they will ask themselves so many questions for years to come, I guess that's the result when law abiding citizens can't even carry a lock knife, let alone a side arm to defend themselves

I have to say I agree with the replys on this subject ,its about time the gloves came off.and gave these ****ers a taste of there own medicine.
I say get them well again then behead the ****ers on camera.it makes my blood boil that they will locked up and given a cushy life at our expense.as has been said why not shoot to kill.after all dead men tell no lies.my opinon and ill stick to it

Again, in no way seeking to be in lecture mode and I hope I choose my words well enough to convey that.

There is no way that 'normal minded' people cannot be affected by such acts. As noted in earlier post - that is exactly the intention of the act, to access deep emotion. It works, unavoidably so. But the perpetrated act is merely a tool for those that order/carry it out - to achieve a change within the 'enemy'.

We cannot help but feel emotion, but we can exercise choice over what we do with it. That's where the fight back best begins. These people - and name tag them all you wish, but they are people - wish to bring about a change in us. Suspension of all the established rights - particularly by demand of the people - is a great step forward for them. Terrorist ideological theory is a vast and often pretty boring subject and not appropriate here. But the foundations of society - in terms of groups of people interacting with each other, the organisation and governance thereof changes very little. One can very usefully read Socretes and in particular William Pitt for very clear incite into society - and specifically the dangers of emotive flow and the path to tyranny. They are as relevant today as when written.

I am so angry about what happened yesterday on so many levels. All we get are mealy mouthed Politicians saying we will stand up to terrorism, we won't let them win , blah, blah blah etc etc. Nothing will change. This will continue until someone has the balls to do what the right minded people in our country all want. Forget European rules - get rid of all these *******s. We can't even deport Abu Qatada !
If they don't like us or our ways deport them tomorrow or sooner. Take the UK back to what it should be. We are an island, protect our borders. Stop this uncontrolled immigration. Take our men home to fight the enemy within.
I'm beginning to understand why the Army has to take over in some countries - - we'ld be a lot better off and a lot safer if that was the case here !!!

I think that these two pieces of filth should be very grateful that the ARV arrived in time to wound them before the lads mates got wind of what had happened and crashed out an informal QRF, might have been a different news story then.

By the way, in the unlikely case that any of thier fellows are reading this, you have been conned, there isn't 72 virgins waiting for you, just a hole in the ground or a spell at gas mark 25 the same as for the rest of us. Sorry to break it to you.

On a positive note, I see we've picked up John Downey, the PIRA scum responsible for the Hyde Park bombing. Seemed he thought that it would be safe to come out from under his rock for the first time in 30 years and visit England. Sorry fella, long memories over here.

:doh:The expected backlash that the politico's are worried about has possibly started with those idiots in edl / bnp kicking off, what do they hope to achieve by chucking bottles at plod?

Appears that someone having left the barracks was jumped and killed by a couple of blokes with a machete, both of whom were then shot and wounded...

It wasn't so long ago that we weren't allowed to travel in uniform, checked under our vehicles and changed routes to and from home - looks like 24/7 vigilance is back on the agenda.

Good luck to all serving troops as they deal with this new threat

It's a f*cked up world, boys & girls... Just be careful out there

Cheers

They are as bad as the terrorists.... and their leader Tommy Robinson is just a football hooligan thug.

My fear is that innocent Muslim families will be targeted in revenge attacks and the extremists get even more publicity.

JR I totally agree with your statement , this country is knackered totally and I think that the government have not got the balls to stand up for its people .

but I would just warn you all don't forget that how ever angry you feel don't put anything on here discrimating on here or else where as these forums are watched by the authorities .

What's discracefull is that the intelligence services in this country KNOW who needs dealing with but aren't allowed to act by laws that are not of our making! But maybe this event will now bring a harsh kneejerk reaction from our politicians and they will actually DO SOMETHING about these people, what this country lacks is a political leader with the BALLS TO STAND UP & do what's right for BRITAIN irrelevant of wether it's PC or not and stand by British law. Politicians swiftly forget that they are there to do our(the people they represent in their areas) bidding not that of the rest of the world or their own agenda! Rant over.
I cannot express my feelings for this mans family, friends, & fellow servicemen.

I do try not to be discriminating but deporting terrorists and their supporters is neither racist nor islamophobic. I am quite sure that most law abiding, British Muslims are just as disgusted as we all are. I'm happy to stand shoulder to shoulder with them. They may be frightened too, by the public reaction to this disgusting murder.

+1 on JR comments. I'm an ex-serviceman who was not allowed to wear uniform in public for the majority of my 30-odd years' service in case of terrorist attack - I strongly disagreed with that. We should remove from this country the known sources of possible terrorist attack - and the majority are known of. If we let these ********s affect our way of life they are achieving exactly what they want. I also think it's irresponsible for the mainstream media to give airtime to the video of the rant by one of the perpetrators; it again serves their purpose and spreads the impact of their actions to a wider audience.

this isn't some terrorist cell carrying out orders on behalf of Al Queda leaders

this is some brain washed, illiterate, south london yob, using someone else's cause to justify a hate crime and get himself on TV

He refers to "our land".
What? Peckham?!

to allow the broadcast of that video on any media is a disgrace.
The glorification of people who carry out totally unjustified crimes of hate on random suspects is almost as bad as the offence itself

IMO the ARU need to spend some time with Jelen and learn how to head shoot
Then we wouldn't have more burden on the NHS with wounded felons

Im convinced the majority of muslims despise christianity and western culture but they still choose to live amongst us for economic reasons , islam is not compatible with western culture and should be outlawed as a criminal / terrorist organisation ....just saying like.

deeply shocked at this and my thaughts go out to the soldiers family and friends.
I cannot believe this was allowed to be aired as i feel it gave them what they wanted. I believe that the media should not be allowed to show such things in order to prevent further events , i feel sooner rather than later things will get out of hand and it will be innocent people getting hurt , atb wayne
