Hi Members

I was wondering what rifle or rifles members are using and what calibre it is.

If you could maybe post a photo with a description of performance in the field etc. I Thought it might make for interesting reading.

Sorry guys if this has already been done before and apologies to admin if its in the wrong section.

6mm ppc. 18" shillen match grade tube, .262 neck, borden rimrock singleshot action, branded as precision rifle services. jewell bottom safety, pillar bedded into a shehane st1000 laminate walnut stock that has been shortened and had the taper planed off the sides. all built by callum ferguson. match load is looking like it'll be 67grain BIB's, current hunting load is 55grain ballistic tips over fed match primer and 29.6grains of n133.

how did you get hold of the 1st pics of the new blaser tamus do you work for them?....i think i like the bispoke sling the most

Sorry, the sling's not for sale through Blaser dealerships, nor is the rust browned version... but what do you think of the fancy-shmancy pre-production custom shop variant?

Some very nice rifles lads...;)
Ah Nowler the 6PPC!!
That brings back memories - i gather you are using a 1 in 14 twist???
I had a Sako 75 in 6PPC USA - they came with a 1 in 12 twist so you could use the 58 V-maxs for vermin control and the 85 grainers for stalking...
When the barrel wore out Callum re-barreled it for me with a 1 in 12 twist Krieger with a 270 neck...

yeah, i had one of those for a while. should never have sold it but hey ho. sako's had a .272 neck is a light skim of 220 russians and you were good to go. i shot 87grn v-max's out of mine, and shot everything with them. great combination as long as you didn't push the distance too much. probably on the limit of stabilisation, i was never brave enough to load them up with half a charge to see if they would key hole or not.
