Rifles Photos Please

love that 7mm08 you have
Thanks. It turned into a heavier beast than I'd planned (about 8.25 pounds with a scope) and the stock color was different than what I'd envisioned (I had charcoal gray in my mind), but I'm very happy with the end result and wouldn't change a thing.

Some very nice rifles lads!!!;)
Trucraft - good to hear you are enjoying the new 7mm;)
As for rifles perhaps we should post up some rifles we owned before the ones we use now???
All the very best..........

I have a pile of rifles that I hunt with. A number of them are rifles that I built on military mauser actions...its hard to give them all fair time in the field hunting, but I try to spread my hunting time between rifles.... Here is one of my favorites... It is a .257 Roberts built on a turk action...my friend from New Zealand used it this fall to take a couple nice whitetails...

That's a really nice rig.I'm a bit of a traditionalist and your rifle ticks all the boxes, it's even in 257 Bob, very nice

AB, Thanks for that...that little rifle turned out better than I expected it to...it was my first attempt with a semi-inletted stock. Got lucky and snagged a Fajen just as they were going out of business. I am not skilled in the woodworking department, but it came out nicely in spite of my lack of skill! Its a handy little rifle..the barrel is a 21" Adams and Bennett cheapo...but it still shoots MOA groups with the right combination of powder and bullets...

Here is the same rifle again, flanked by my 6.5-06 on the top and one of my 280AI's on the bottom....

I like KISS theory (keep it simple stupid) and am a tightwad... I got my whole package, new safe, and ammo for all for less than what you folks pay for hunting shoes, pants, and jacket but I'm happy and haven't had a deer or pig criticize them.

Mauser 98 30.06 with a noname german 6x42 scope...

My just hadda have it, back to the roots special.... Browning BLR .308 with Kahles 1.5-4x20 scope (pic from the auction I bought it from).

And, even tho you didn't ask... My shotgun... St Etienne 12 ga when I got it and after my coworker (gunsmith) took it home for a safety check...

Probably looking at a .275 Rigby based on a very nice old 1914 M98 action with side mounted vintage Pecar. I'll be making the barrel from EN24 and installing open sights. No moddy to be fitted to this one. ;)
Very very nice :) take some photos of it mate I'd love to see how it progresses .....
then kindly send it to me :) lol
