Anyone used anything good? Mine in getting battered in and out of trucks and high seats etc so wanted to give it some protection.

Thanks that looks a nice option need to have a measure upI use a blaser mod cover which are good quality
I once caught my neoprene moderator cover on a branch while climbing into a highseat in the dark. Unbeknown to me, the cover must have been pulled partially off the end of the mod. Just about first light - it was almost still dark - a deer appeared in front of me and I fired at it. The shot sounded a bit odd, the deer ran away unscathed, and about 30 yards in front of my highseat lay the smoking remnants of my moderator cover.. I have always worried about the neoprene ones slipping
Vet wrap (self adhesive bandage).Anyone used anything good? Mine in getting battered in and out of trucks and high seats etc so wanted to give it some protection.

Always amazes me that a good old inner tube can be relied on for so many things apart from keeping your tyre inflated when you’re 20+ miles from home!Bike inner tube.
This ^Bike inner tube.
It comes in several colours, generally to match the colour coding of electrical cables:I recently put some heat wrap on my SL5 which when warmed up with the wife’s hairdryer shrinks to fit. It doesn’t hold water and protects the metal from bangs and knocks. So far so good, but it usually only comes in black.
