Just my opinion from my personal experience, nothing more
I've read this thread a few times. Just to be clear, what is now "good reason" for a 5 shot shotgun in 2026? In a practical sense, stalking into geese eating high value crops would be an ideal use, but you can't shoot geese with a gun with more than 3 shots. What about stalking into pigeons eating high value crops? Or decoying pigeons over crops?

I’m always surprised how folk on a shooting site don’t take sides with shooters

Something I realised a very long time ago, the law will do what the law want to do, what you or anybody else who wants to go to war with the law about or over will have zero effect!
They will do what they want to do regardless of what you want or think so the sooner you get your head around that the easier life will become like I said it’s not rocket science

I think the difference between us and others is some of us resent a tyrannical pseudo socialist/ communism establishment and others just take it up the azz.
Granted them that appear to roll over don't necessarily do so once out of site of their or indeed our overlords!
Those that resent having to give up freedoms and liberties just because criminal activity supersedes the law abiding generally are upset because deep down some of us, no them, oops, feel like they are being forced to become criminals !
What ever we end up bickering amongst ourselves about doesn't matter, it will always be the fault of the state and it's operatives by not protecting the liberty of it's law abiding peoples and using the excuse of the evil ones to remove liberty from them the law abiding period.
