RWS EVO GRENN, what type of gunpowder?

Even if you discovered what it is in principle it wouldn’t be of benefit as ammunition manufacturers have access to bulk lots which can vary in burning speed etc from the outwardly similar power available to reloaders. The powder we buy is blended & tested to give lot to lot consistency whereas the manufacturers test & alter their loads to suit the differences in bulk lot to bulk lot.

Bofors Sweden supply bulk powder to Rotweil who then repackage it as R903 etc. If all their powder comes from Bofors who knows.

RWS supply lots of reloading components and provides data of their website
The powders quoted are all Rottweil.
Sadly in the UK RWS components are not available, which is a pity.

As said impossible to find out.
If you have the data from the box you could run it through quick load and it will give you a few alternative close to the data. If you can access any if these give it a go.

I bought 3 packages of RWS evo green last week, 11.9 gram bullets.
The price was madness, but it works so good in my rifle so I can afford it!
