I have paid £50 for 2 sacks of chicken corn, 2 layers pellets and 1 sheep nuts from a farm shop which is easily the best pricewise - should be, Kate Humble goes there. Normally £38
So where is this 'grab for cash' going to end ?
I have signed a petition this morning to try and stop the Welsh Government re-rating all domestic properties as a consequence of the previous rabid house price inflation, shortly (in my book ) to be a crash the like of which has rarely been seen.
What the Welsh are planning will come to a Council near you as a 30-40% rise in House prices promises greater yields for the Labour Council's.
Our MP is fighting it, saying that the residents of Monmouth in particular are bled dry by a Welsh Government which see the Bagladeshi taxi driver as its main voters. ( so said Mark Drakesford ) .
I wonder if moving to Canada is on the cards for a retired ex civil engineer ?

At least I have a Canadian father on my birth cert so it looks like the $400 application fee for citizenship might not be a bad idea. Anyone want to be adopted?

Well the OBR has been under the impression that we had it solved a while ago, because that’s one of the incorrect assumptions they use in their model….you know, the one which is used to justify deposing the economically sound Truss/Kwarteng duo.
