The inserts are “family” based eg the 308 insert suits a 6.5 Creedmoor or 6mmBR. I personally use the 300WM insert for my 6.5PRC, in addition to the 223, 6BR and 6.5 Creedmoor.
The clearance on each insert is listed on them themselves:
223 = 10.2mm
7.62x39 = 12mm
308 = 12.6mm
300WM = 14mm
338LM = 15.9mm
To some extent it is just “common sense” really. There is also a dedicated 17/22 Hornet insert available separately for the extra small cases.
.222 & .223 have the same case geometry just one the .223 is a few 100ths" longer.Just to confirm, .222rem is compatible with the .223 insert?
Yes, that’s correct.Just to confirm, .222rem is compatible with the .223 insert?
These are designed and prototyped in Australia, where the company is based out of, but yes most of the manufacturing is done in China at the companies workshop thereTo be clear, they are not made in Australia, rather in the PRC. My understanding is the Aussie sales are assembled there as Aussies have trouble buying from China and assembled in Aus makes it much more acceptable.
Ah OK.These are designed and prototyped in Australia, where the company is based out of, but yes most of the manufacturing is done in China at the companies workshop there![]()
