Of course it is. Must have took loads of attempts too. Doesn’t mean they didn’t achieve it though.Clearly a sponsored video.

@LaurieI can speak from personal experience of shooting 308 Win 175gn SMK handloads from a 24-inch barrel police-military rifle at up to 1,000.

My first experience of 1000y. I remember it being pretty daunting but a really good learning experience. Unfortunately the shot marker system wouldn't work for me as the rounds weren't fast enough to register but watching the guys next to me showed how much a few FPS difference in MV moves the impact up and down

FYI: Not sure if you can get it, but with 47.5grs of MR2000 with a 175gr SMK, you'll find nirvana. 2700+ fps...@Laurie
I hope you will forgive me saying so - but I hope you never underestimate the value of your 'posts' to folk like me.
Oft times, I will scribble down a few salient words from your entires, and they just sit in my 'long distance' file to help me try and get my head around all this nonsense...

Yes I have shot the Mosin 91/30 and 91/30 Pu with a 2-3 inch group on the 91/30 and the Pu version was a very consistent 1.5 inch for 5 shots.
Sir I am willing to buy you large quantities of expensive whiskey should you inform me of "consistent" wind within 300 miles of my home area. The video in OP is not a 1 MoA group at 1000 yards. This is not particularly difficult provided you are allowed a few rounds to get onto it and the wind is moderately constant. It is a first round impact on a 1 MoA target at 1000 yards. This is always more difficult. You would need to take into account all atmospherics and power temperature.
The 308 is not the ideal cartridge to do it with as it will be transonic at 1000yd/900m unless you have a long barrel and load hot. I'm also dubious of the benefits of 175 grain 308 bullets over 155 grain. I can't be bothered getting my phone out right now but I think the 155 gr SMK and Hornady 155gr ELDM has more retained velocity at 1000x than the 175 SMK out of my rifle.
The video in OP is also a US video. It is generally easier in the US as there are large expanses of flat land where the wind is consistent over all the flightpath of the bullet. In the UK there is much more likely to be uneven terrain leading to variable wind.
Holy S*%&%^(!!!
Someone is taking the p!ss out you guys...
So, just how much better are the latest must have calibres like the PRC’s or the crudmoor ‘s at this distance?
Anyone shoot the .270 at 1000yds and how does it perform?

MR2000 is the pixie dust for a 308 and heavy bullets.

I have no idea of an equivalent, sorry.@MarinePMI
Right then.
I have just ordered 500 of those bullets.
Getting hold of 2000MR in the UK does appear to be an issue.
Usual caveats apply.
Do you have a 'similar' powder that I could reach (see what I did there) for.

I have any number of tubs of Vit. (I say Vit. because I cannot spell Vihtavuori) various flavours.
