none the less anyway
but unlike some i am quite diverse in my knowledge and experience and not afraid to share that
as i don't know you and you me either
i offer you the chance to either learn from thy or educate me

I disgreed with the opinions that you were putting forward and I gave my reasoning for doing so. That is it, nothing more. Wherever you gained your diverse knowledge and experience must have been very different to where I gained mine because in my opinion your modern approach just simply wouldn't work.

Having read your comments a couple of times now, they still don't make any more sense to me from a practical or economic point of view. I have already expressed my reasoning for coming to the opinion that I have so I don't think there is any point in me reiterating my these.

No war of words or fisticuffs as you mentioned, just a difference of personal opinions on a subject discussed on an open forum. Surely that is what a forum is about. If I trawled through your other posts then I'm sure there will be some that I agree with and others that I don't. And in the future I will no doubt tell you so either way

The Forestry Commission in the North-East have all the deer culled on thier land collected by Bestwick Game dealers, so any deer seen in any other game dealers did not come from the Forestry Commission.

There are reports of Red deer being seen in the area as some were released from an enclosure by poachers near to Hamsterley Forest; none have been seen within the forest and there is no sign.

Any new species of deer seen in Hamsterley would have to be reported to the Forestry Commission Wildlife Management Team. There then would be a decision made as to the impact of the species, to the forest as a whole. This would take into account the impact on other wildlife and habitats. All deer culled are done so in acordance with the deer management stratergy and as such a new cull plan would have to be approved before any new species were culled. As red deer are a native species then it would be highly likely that they would be allowed to establish, as this would fit with the wider conservation objectives of the forest. It's not all about trees and timber anymore, especially at Hamsterley.

I hope everyone can appreciate that I have written this in a positive spirit and also that as the Forestry Commission wildlife ranger for Hamsterley I certainly have not culled any reds in the forest.

the deer in question are from a local deer and bison farm and are obviously bred as domestic stock to go directly into the food chain,so are classed as domestic stock .the game dealer has a contract to process the venison for the farmer who sells it in his farm shop,so all this ******** was caused by somebody not minding their own business .ive followed this thread from the start and felt it time to put it to bed,rumors and hear say can get a man hung.
