Finding a good gunsmith over here with any level of skill is next to impossibleAs you are from Ballymena I would look for some one local.
Shipping will be a pain.
@Ronin has done several rifles for me including a T3 in 22-250. Should shipping not be crazy.
IIRC Fabian Connoly isn’t a million miles away from you. Ok, over the border but I believe he’s pretty good. Or ask Edi at PSE.Finding a good gunsmith over here with any level of skill is next to impossible![]()

Was going to go with a faster twist, read conflicting info on if its any advantage on a .22-250 so was going to give it a try and find out for myself, thinking 1:9 for 69-75 gr bullets,Just buy another factory Tikka T3X and sell the old one.
Honestly that’s the way forward.
I am very good friends with @Ronin and he would most probably agree.
If a factory 22-250 has done what you need why bother.
A re-barrel will be over £700
Plus shipping.
A new T3X is about £1000.
Unless you want a fast twist it isn’t worth it.
