I don’t think there is much in it, it all depends where you get lucky with your load data. I’m pushing the 77 tmk’s at around 3400 in a 22” barrel, and a few mates have 24’s and are sitting around 3500 for the same bullet or 75 eldm’s. That’s similar to a lad I know who has a 24” middlestead, although I think the MS could go a bit more, but he backed off a bit.

you want a 22 CM but can't get brass, 22-250 has too much taper for an AICS mag, Ackley the 22-250 fireform with C.O.W, no wasted bullets, no eroded barrel, and correctly headstamped brass, or go down this route: .22-250 Ackley Improved - Roberson Cartridge Company

You can also fireform 22CM quite easily from 22.250.
I'm mulling this one over as my 22.250 is due a rebarrel. If the 22CM were deer legal (delivers energy, but not calibre from what I can see), it would be a no brainer - but I really am struggling to move on from a fast twist 22.250 which will to all intents and purposes do the same thing, can take factory ammo and feeds fine for me. (There is a limit, six was OK, any more gave feed issues in the MDT 8rd and the AICS 10rd mags)

l can report that the 22 dasher is a good choice owning one myself as well as a 22-250, the 22 dasher is like a 22-250 on steroids and very handy with heavier projectiles
l shoot 55gr vmax for rabbits and foxes but 60gr hornady hollow points hit like the hammer of thor very accuratly IMHO, the most precise bullet l use is the 80gr berger vld, the barrel is a stainless shilen 1 in 8" twist in a Palma contour, the chamber is setup with a tight neck and tight case tolerances on an old m98 single shot
when l had the barrel chambered l had the smith ream out a wilson 22 br seater die to the 22 dasher using my custom reamer, l use a wilson 6mm dasher neck die with the appropriate bushing to neck size and l use a forster 6mm dasher FLS die to bump the shoulder back when needed
its not for everyone as some do not like the work to get the cases but once you have them it is done and you would not look back
I made a good few 22 creedmoor s I use 6 mm creed brass and neck it down in 1 step I am getting 3975 fps with a 55 grain bullet and one hole accuracy it’s a brilliant little cartridge with a tight twist shooting heavy .224 bullets it’s unreal it feeds great in tika mags most of mine are built on tika t3 actions
