Have a .223 to purchase again. Had one a few years ago in tikka t3 and the thing was a tack driver. Situstion changed and had to part with it. (Gutted) now back in the market for another and I like the look of the howa 1500 oryx this time round. Will be setting up for foxing so thinkin of a pard on top.
Has anyone any dealing with the oryx and what the think of Howa. Would defo have a tikka again and I currently shoot x bolt .243

Cheers
Stevie

Hello stevie i have an oryx stock on my .243 i think its great for the money , as regards to the howa ive had three and all shot very well the .223 howa i had was the varmint heavy barrel with a 1x9 twist and was a tack driver .
all the best Pete.

What do you have the oryx stock on at the moment pete? I'm.sure it will be spot on once I find the right flavour of rounds it likes

Was intrigued by the Oryx so googled it.

Hello stevie my .243 is a savage model 12 i only use it to punch paper it would be a bit heavy for walking about with the oryx stock is about 4 pounds on its own if you were shooting fox from one position ie prone or of a rest it would be excellent.
ATB Pete.
