Hi there everyone,
I load into Remmington cases, Federal primers and use 85 grn Speer B Tails. Powder used is H4895= 34grns.
I find this load very kind to the shoulder, minimum barrel flip, and suitable for foxing and fallow does. If I would be shooting bucks I would step up to a 100grn Speer and change powder to suit. The knock down on this combination appears to give little run off from the target beast and little meat damage .Speer bullets appear to be very consistant in their weight and on checking a batch of 50 found 1 to be 0.1 grn different to the rest.
John.
