If we are forced to use non lead bullets in the 243 there are no100 grn bullets available as I can see

As the material is less dense, to get up to 100gr length becomes an issue unless you have a fast twist in your rifle ?

There have been quite a few threads on this recently. 100gr in a 1:10 twist is marginal when using the ballistic tipped boat tail bullets, many report no issues at all with the soft point flat base variety (which by design are shorter).

Can’t find anyone who makes 100 grn non lead and 100 grn is legal requirement for large deer in Scotland

Barnes makes a great 95gr. long range bullet (LRX) but it requires 1-8 twist. It shoots great in my 6XC but It definitely won’t shoot well in old 243win with 1-10 twist or any other 95-100 gr. monolithic bullet for that matter

A quick look at Quickload. .243, 20" barrel, 2.71" AOL, Barnes TTSX, RL26, 49.68gn, 101.8% fill, 98,17 burn. Est' 3159fps, 1772flbs.

Theoretical I know, but 80gn can certainly be made legal in England
