Bottom one is the 25-20, top one is original (Parker tubed) .297/.250
The case goes with the bottom one, a H&H ‘Royal’. The other one is also a Holland & Holland but not sure of the model, need to get Wal Wilther’s book out & see if I can match it up. Yes, it has PH mounts & rings, the scope is a B. Nickel. What lovely Rook rifles they are, the bottom one is the Holland & Holland with its Zeiss Zielklein and AKAH mount.
Can’t make out who the top rifle is attributed too, l can see the Parker Hale mounts on the scope but again I’m not sure of the scope brand, l would be interested to know.
Nice Rook rifle case by the way, had a couple like that.

Derek Fearn. God bless him. He relaid a rib for me on a shotgun and, as many know, made the rifle used in the Day of the Jackal film starring Edward Fox.I’ve had one for a while - an Army & Navy hammer rook rifle that was tubed by the late Derek Fearn. I also have a 25-20 too![]()
Wow amazing, looked like something I made in a garden shed .....as many know, made the rifle used in the Day of the Jackal film starring Edward Fox.
