Bottom one is the 25-20, top one is original (Parker tubed) .297/.250

What lovely Rook rifles they are, the bottom one is the Holland & Holland with its Zeiss Zielklein and AKAH mount.
Can’t make out who the top rifle is attributed too, l can see the Parker Hale mounts on the scope but again I’m not sure of the scope brand, l would be interested to know.

Nice Rook rifle case by the way, had a couple like that.

The case goes with the bottom one, a H&H ‘Royal’. The other one is also a Holland & Holland but not sure of the model, need to get Wal Wilther’s book out & see if I can match it up. Yes, it has PH mounts & rings, the scope is a B. Nickel.

Thank you for your information, l did think the top rifle was a Holland & Holland but couldn’t be sure, couldn’t quite make it out from your photo.

Both are beautiful rifles, I’m sure you enjoy them.

I’ve been trying to remember the name of the other Holland & Holland, would it possibly be the “Ross” ?

I have a Martini Cadet, a mint Savage 23B, and a Winchester M92 (Australian retired, mint) in 25-20. The first varmint cartridge and deadly accurate with 65:grain cast bullets. I once rebarreled a 1922 Springfield to 25-20. Wish I still had it! -Muir
