45-70 Lever Gun

I have a Marlin 1895, which is for Boar and (on occasion) deer. Topped with a fairly inexpensive LVPO (Its a Primary Arms 1-6 x24), which acts as a hybrid between red dot, but with bit of zoom! Cracking rifle, but hefty recoil makes accurate follow up shots somewhat tricky

What are the Henry lever guns like in comparison to the Marlins? They seem to be a bit rarer and more expensive, are they better built?
I’ve never given them any thought until a mate insisted on getting one and they are amazing, totally on a different level to Marlins and Winchesters. He has a few and I also looked at a few others and they are all equally amazing out of the box.

I have a few Marlins but they’re a bit like a Remington, they shoot okay, less fussy than a Winchester and bits frequently falls off if you don’t remember to keep tightening all the screws.

Here’s another use. I’ve never been much good with a rod - I have zero patience for it and have always preferred this more direct method
