west berkshire, sunday morning.

high seat on roof, 8 roe in the fields behind, swivel bearing oil p!$$ing out down front wheel!

Hi bucksden,
is this going to be a monthly competition? How many crosses are we allowed to put on the photo, where we think the roe are :???:

Hi Bucksden,
ours are all in realtree camo pelage, that must be why I don't see them till they're running away
Nice outfit to stalk in by the way. Despite all their faults I still kiss my old Landy :(

P.S. Please read "miss my old Landy" I left the typo in cos it made me smile. I liked the old motor, but not THAT much!

The last time I saw a navara on TV is was on Watchdog Where it was described by motoring organizations as the most dangerous car on the road, and should be banned

That was around six weeks ago
**** I used to work for had a brand new one last year and already it's been recalled. Pile of shite he said

Judging by your pic I think you need more veg in your diet, particularly carrots!!

Great pic

All the best,
Gyr

Sorry late getting back on this subject, but the fault I saw on watchdog was far more serious, than a recall, the car is outright dangerous and has no impact resistance, It cannot be fixed

Described as a death trap, as it looks a strong car, and it certainly is not

this is our shooting 'break'. 71 series 3. tax free. 80 quid fully comp a year. dont fancy going to scotland in it though.
the only hassle with the LR recalls is the inconveiance of taking them to the dealer , you dont have to pay for anything!!! been working on them in dealerships for 13 years, all manufactuers have their faults land rover seem to get a real slagging off in the press.

You really can't knock a Landy. ;)

In fact you can, time and time again and it does not matter

They will take any amount if abuse and still look good, the same can not be said for our shiny Jap vehicles

Just be careful parking it on a bank!
If I'd had done what I did the other night in anything else it would have been a whole lot worse.Landies are (luckily)built like tanks.
All the best,
Gyr

Could do with a respray or maybe a bit of TCut

No seriously, this is just the sort of vehicle you need for a nights lamping, although a good quad bike can also be just as good and gets into places Landies sometimes cant manage.

Nothing wrong with JAP 4x4, comfort as you get older is something your piles always thank you for. (not that I suffer from that particular ailment.

too much glare with the t cut. my mate also has the quad, all bases covered. the whole lot comes off in 5 mins ready for the ifor williams top so the spanials and lab can go in for phesant shooting :-D :-D :-D

Go for a Nissan Navara, Mines a 2001 and just done 150,000 miles, I've had it serviced every 6,000 and never had a problem, damn good off road (tyres dependant)
