Yes, they dont ask too many questions and pay out on a very high percentage of claims but their costs are a bit extreme!Sounds about the normal price I thought. Im with NFU but I think the cost is worth it as they pay our fairly and quickly when you need them from my families experience
Weird how insurance works. 64 reg Dmax £402.54 with NFULots of suggestions to look into. Thanks chaps!

Been on both ends. Prefer the thicker end.Hey Sjambok, just noticed your name, been on the wrong end of a sjambok too many times as a kid!
I was with them for over 20 year then got a silly increase on my renewal premium (no claims or chang3s in circumstances) 3 or 4 years ago, they would've budge when I spoke to them so I went elsewhere at almost half the price.Cheaper insurance is great, until you have to make a claim, all my insurance is with NFU, to me its worth the slight if any extra. Instead of switching insurer, why not ring them and ask if you can do anything to reduce the premium
I once made the mistake of insuring with NFU Mutual, fortunately I also took out a separate legal expenses insurance and had to threaten to sue to get paid outYes, they dont ask too many questions and pay out on a very high percentage of claims but their costs are a bit extreme!
I had my whole business insured with them but still couldn't justify insuring my vehicles. Prices they quoted me were 3 times higher than some other companies.
I hear you there!Been on both ends. Prefer the thicker end.
Yes, definitely this ^^^For youngsters, adding a parent as a named driver seems to get a huge reduction.
Mine is £300 a year fully compYep Just look at Range Rovers now. Virtually uninsurable

Nevertheless with any insurance claim never invalidate it by exaggeration and always be prepared to sue your insurance company if they don't pay up in full. A mate of mine had to take out a winding up order against Norwich Union to get paid!Iv always gone with the cheapest insurance I can find (with options that I want) and been paid out on both claims Iv made. Long as you don’t lie when taking the policy out then they don’t have a leg to stand on
