I have a load of approximately 5000 primers that are available for free, gratis, nothing!! The only catch is that they are BERDAN primers AND ARE NOT THE USUAL BOXER PRIMERS. This means that you will need to have Berdan cases to use them in, and a way of extracting the old primer that does not involve a conventional decapping pin. They will not work in normal Boxer cases as the anvil to fire the priming compound is not present in the primer. If you try and decap a Berdan case with a normal die you will break your decapping pin as Berdan cases have two off centre flash holes not one! If on the other hand you have a load of Berdan cases and the means to decap them then it is your lucky day!! Buyer to collect - NW England

Very generous offer for a 303 or simillar shooter with the requisite brass!

Berdan primers are even harder to find than Boxer at the moment!

If these are Eley or Kynoch berdan primers they are larger than the modern USA/European 210" Large Rifle. If so, berdan-primed Eley/Kynoch cases which fit them haven't made since the early 1970's, most of them a lot earlier. Live berdan-primed E/K cases are now brittle with age, and can split on firing or when they're reworked .
I don't know the details. This may not apply here, but just passing on what I know.:)
