Love 6.5x55 does everything a 6.5 CR does with less pressure and barrel wear funny how the Americans would not touch the Swede but were happy to pinch the 6.5 lapua and buy it with a little tweak and an American name

A calibre close to my heart, a practical, mild and elegant very capable cartridge

The 6.5x55 fox123grn ammo turned up before Christmas. Got out yesterday to check zero and set another profile in the DTN Zulus. First shot 2" low 2" left . 2nd shot bottom of the target . 3rd shot bottom of the target 2" right of the last. Left it then and but 3 shots of S+B blue energy 120 grn all 3 shots in the bull and touching speed of the S+B 2.789
